Sally Hoke - Rick Tarrant - Martin Kennard - Richard Holland

North Drive is a Band from Winchester (Hampshire) playing Bluegrass - influenced by Roots and Folk Music. Two of its members are writing original material, and this material is mixed with covers to provide an interesting and different approach. Arrangements are mostly original, and with the vocal harmonies provide an exciting sound; All four band members sing.
Some 18 months down the line, and the Band will have played at least Five Festival Stages including Orewell, Didmarton and Cornwall, as well as our more local events. Once the festival season comes to a close we plan to produce the first Album which we hope will reflect the talent of our songwriters and the band's arrangements of the material.

The new album "THE COLDEST NIGHT" is nearly done! We are very excited about the approaching launch, so we offer you a download to be able to listen to a selection of what's coming. It may well be another month or so before all the production side of things is complete, but we will keep you posted!

BBMA Magazine - Submitted by Norman Jones relating to gig at the Ringwood Folk Club. "North Drive all sang harmonies as if they were born to it. It was the kind of sound you hear on the radio going over the Smokey Mountains on Highway 40 out of North Carolina down into Tennessee. Wonderful stuff."

From Steve Kaufman's Winchester Gig.
"North Drive opened up the night and they kick butt. Great hard driving sound and smooth vocals." Steve Kaufman (USA)
